Product Overview
S‑201 is diethylene glycol monobutyl ether (DGBE), CAS No. 112‑34‑5, molecular formula C₈H₁₈O₃, molecular weight 162.23. It is a long-chain alcohol ether solvent containing two ether linkages and one hydroxyl group, combining strong hydrophilicity with low volatility. With a high boiling point (230.4℃) and a very low evaporation rate, it is suitable as a solvent for paints, inks, and resins. It dissolves oils, dyes, resins, and nitrocellulose, and is also used in organic synthesis.

Directions for Use
Coatings / inks / resins: add at 3%–10% of total formulation;
Metal cleaners / paint strippers: add at 5%–15% of total formulation.
Precautions
Keep away from ignition sources and heat. After prolonged storage at extreme high or low temperatures, slight separation may occur; stir until uniform before use. Performance is not affected.
Storage & Transportation
1. Store sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from ignition sources and heat.
2. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.
Packaging
Sealed packaging in 200 kg galvanized steel drums or 1000 kg plastic drums.
